A dated snapshot, not a live counter.
The saved public-server-list snapshot for September 15, 2026 at 18:00 UTC recorded 221,300 reported players across the sampled public list. Servers classified by our metadata rules as roleplay accounted for 194,760 reported players, about 88.0% of that total. There were 8,096 classified roleplay servers reporting at least one player.
These figures are from the existing GTA V / FiveM environment. They are not GTA VI figures or the population of GTA6LARP.
How the snapshot was made.
Our collector read the public Cfx.re server stream and summarized server metadata and reported concurrent player counts at the collection time. The local daily rollup and underlying research archive retain the source record. Roleplay classification is based on public text and tags rather than a manual audit of every server.
Counts can change by time of day. Public-list coverage, server-reported values, temporary availability and classification errors all affect the result. This is not a count of unique people, monthly active users, paying customers or all GTA players.
What we use it for.
The snapshot is a reason to study roleplay communities and the people building around them. It cannot establish demand for a particular new server, a future platform, a subscription or a creator campaign.
Our city and commercial plans need their own evidence: actual community participation, useful contributions, clear development milestones and offers people choose to use.
